After the atrocities of October 7th, Jewish voices rang out all over the world in grief, rage, and resilience. The first volume of Proof of Life: An Exploration of Conflict, Survival, and the Human Spirit, a collection of poems and short stories, captured that raw outpouring. But as the dust settled, a new question emerged — not just who was speaking, but who was listening and cared enough to do something?

Allied Voices for Israel (AVI) is proud to announce Never Again: Allies Speak Out Against Antisemitism, Volume 2 of the Proof of Lifeanthology series, edited and curated by Sharon Zohar, illustrated by Rochelle (@mighty.matzoball), and designed by Alex Duchêne (@alexdduchene).

This powerful collection features voices from Canada and around the world standing up against antisemitism and hate. Some of our amazing student leaders and allies are also featured.

This second volume from Proof of Life shifts the lens to those who heard the cries of the Jewish people and refused to look away.

Never Again: Allies Speak Out Against Antisemitism brings together the voices of non-Jewish allies who have stepped forward—not just to acknowledge the pain but to share in it, to stand against rising hate, and to insist that Never Again must be more than a slogan.

Through poetry and prose, this anthology weaves the narrative of Jewish history, struggle, and survival through the eyes of those who choose to stand beside us. It speaks to those who may not yet call themselves allies but feel unsettled by what they see in the world today—those who believe in justice, who question the narratives they are being fed, who are willing to listen.
